Our sweet Claire celebrated her fourth birthday with a picnic at the municipal park, complete with a train ride. We are all about the My Little Ponies this year thanks to the influences of our older girl cousins. Nani sent her a beautiful Rainbow Dash #4 shirt, which she has worn several times since so that "everyone will know that she is four." This was her outfit chosen to wear to the park. She abandoned the tutu before we even left and the crown was taken off too, but put back on for opening presents.

Evie sportin' the tutu. The girls helped me make these no-sew tutus. I found out quickly why these things are so expensive. The tulle is very costly. It was a fun project - spontaneously chosen after my Aunt Kathy suggested them to me in a facebook post, but I had no idea that they would take so much tulle and that it would end up being so costly. Still, the girls are quite happy and they turned out really cute.

Pictures got a bit out of order - nothing simpler than arranging cupcakes with the number for this year's birthday. It was really quite a perfect little gathering.
